Hearts Score Keeper
After each hand, enter the points each player took: 1 for every heart and 13 for the queen of spades. The score keeper checks the hand adds up to 26, handles shooting the moon, and ends the game when someone reaches 100. The lowest score wins.

How it scores hearts
- Each hand totals 26: one point for each of the 13 hearts and 13 for the queen of spades. The score keeper won't accept a hand that doesn't add up.
- Shooting the moon: if one player takes all 26 points, everyone else scores 26 and the shooter scores nothing. Some groups take 26 off the shooter instead; choose under house rules.
- End of the game: when anyone reaches 100 at the end of a hand, the game ends and the lowest total wins. If two players tie for lowest, play another hand. Many groups play to 50 for a shorter game.
Example hands
Taking the queen: 13
One player takes the queen of spades, and the 13 hearts are split 6, 4 and 3 among the others. The player with the queen scores 13 for the hand.
Shooting the moon: 26 to everyone else
The second player takes every heart and the queen. With the usual rule, each of the other three players scores 26, and the shooter scores 0.
